AstraVue 4.3 RC2 Release Package
Product-owned SDK release bundle, Web SDK, React SDK, TV adapter, subscriber config, install scripts and PBM adoption evidence.
AstraVue 4.3 RC2 · Major No-Video Bug Fixed
RC2 documents the browser-safe source-contract repair for Astra Lab test playback. This is a product release-candidate update, not a player-engine rewrite.
AstraVue 4.3 RC2 is the current adoption baseline
Full AstraVue release history, including RC1 feature baseline and RC2 no-video fix, is available from Product Management → View History.
AstraVue Release Package
Astra Lab builds and certifies AstraVue here. Trendest TV later consumes a released SDK/adapter package as a subscriber platform.
Subscriber package
PBM required
Package Lanes
- Web SDK: script-tag / plain web integration bundle for external web apps.
- React SDK: Next.js/React browser-only adapter for subscriber apps.
- TV Adapter: Trendest TV/Core/App Control subscriber contract.
- External SDK lane: partner-facing package contract and onboarding docs.
- Operator Harness: Product Management-only certification/runtime evidence surface.
Release Bundle Contents
- manifest.json: product version, release status, compatibility and subscriber gates.
- contracts/astravue-public-api.contract.json: public API only; no internal imports.

Trendest TV Adoption Flow
- Astra Lab builds and certifies AstraVue in Product Management.
- PBM confirms product boundaries and blocks direct internal imports.
- Release Package is generated with manifest, contracts, docs, scripts and examples.
- Trendest TV installs only the released AstraVue SDK/adapter package.
- Trendest TV supplies subscriber/license config.
- Browser/runtime proof is attached before adoption is accepted.
Installer format decision
- No DMG is required for Trendest TV or web/OTT app integration.
- Use private npm package or versioned tar.gz SDK release bundle.
- Use DMG only later for a macOS desktop QA tool, local installer or native desktop app.
Forbidden subscriber imports
- Trendest TV must not import AstraVuePlayer.tsx directly.
- Trendest TV must not import TrendestUnifiedPlayerV2/V3 directly.
- Trendest TV must not import video.js / hls.js / shaka-player directly for AstraVue playback.
- Trendest TV must not copy AstraVue engine policy or runtime logic into app pages.
Product Tracking Engine is required in the AstraVue subscriber package
Every Trendest TV install must carry license validation, PBM reporting, technical event tracking, feedback/error inbox routing and update-channel checks.
astravue-4.3-rc2-trendest-tv
Studio has prepared the Trendest TV subscriber release package, license validation API, tracking ingestion endpoints, PBM preflight script and update-check contract. Trendest TV code remains untouched until the Tab 3 pilot step.
Remote Blocking Engine
AstraVue can be remotely blocked during a valid license period if PBM, license, commercial, origin, app-target, package-checksum or critical technical violations are detected. Expiry blocks runtime automatically.
- Remote block status API active
- License validation consults remote block state
- Expiry automatically blocks runtime
- Manual Studio block can suspend a valid license period
- License violation event can block runtime
- PBM violation can block integration
- Update check exposes block state and final checksum
- Tracking inbox records block/unblock events
- Package includes remote blocking contract
- Trendest TV Tab 3 must poll status before playback
